Day 165: The Way to Greatness

But whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. So you want to achieve greatness, become a servant. If you want to be the top, become the bottom. It’s very carefully worded. In other words, how high up you will go is determined by how low down you are willing to start. And then Jesus enforced it with His own example. Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life a ransom for many. We are here not to be served, but to serve.
