Day 152: The Church is not a Building
Daily Devotional
By Derek Prince
You see church buildings serve useful purposes, but for the most part they do not achieve fellowship. After all, the very way the whole a church building is set out tells you, the moment you get in there, you’re going to sit in your seat and all you’re going to see of other people is the back of somebody else’s neck. Well you see you really can’t fellowship the back of somebody’s neck. Now I’m not saying churches are wrong. What I’m saying is that’s not an end. It’s a means to bring us into fellowship. But really in most cases, fellowship is achieved in different environment and different situations.
