Day 144: Doing What He Wants

One thing I want to emphasize is the sovereignty of God. Sovereignty is a kind of theological word. I interpret it this way: it means God does what He wants, when He wants, the way He wants, and He asks no one’s permission. And I think one of the great truths of Scripture, which has been largely neglected in this present generation, is the sovereignty of God. I think we need to come back to that, because until we appreciate and honor God’s sovereignty there are a lot of ways in which we can’t relate to God as we should.
