Day 131: Tolerating Character Flaws
Daily Devotional
By Derek Prince
Many of us have played around for years and years with things in our character that we have tolerated that should never have been tolerated. It doesn’t always have to be anger. It can be fear, it can be doubt. You go on permitting yourself this. If you go to Alcoholics Anonymous they tell me that when you’re on your way out, one of the things they’ll tell you is this: resentment is a luxury which you can no longer afford. There are other luxuries you can’t afford. You can’t afford to go on entertaining doubt and fear and unbelief and indecision. They’re too expensive. You can make your mind up. It’s finished.
