It’s an interesting thing, in the Latin language, the word for character is a plural noun and it’s a plural for the word for habit. So your habit is the sum, your character is the sum total of your habits. Which is true, really. And your habits are formed by repeated decisions. And you never make an unimportant decision, never. Even the smallest decisions you make are important, because every decision is either positive or negative. It’s either building up or breaking down your character. And you cannot go through life habitually making wrong decisions and end up the right kind of person. And a miracle of God’s grace can set you free from your bondage, but God’s grace does not make decisions for you. You have to make them for yourself.
