Day 57: The Call of God

“God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.” What an astonishing statement! Bear in mind that when God saves you He also calls you. There is a calling for every saved person, a special way of life, a special task, a special responsibility. If you are saved, God has a calling for you. If you have not yet discovered it, you’re really not finding the purpose of life. Nothing that happens is just an accident of time.
