Day 28: Working Hard

Another problem with television basically, even Christian television, is that it tends to make people more and more passive. People are just used to turning a knob and letting things pass in front of their eyes. Well, that’s not the meaning of apply your heart. It takes effort. I grew up in the days when learning was supposed to be hard work. Then a philosophy emerged in education where if it’s difficult don’t try it. Believe me, both in the natural and in the spiritual there are lots of things you will never achieve without hard work. If you’re not prepared to work hard, you can just write yourself off as second class in any area of life.
