In 2024, your prayers and support have enabled us to partner with Christian Friends of Israel (CFI) to bring hope and spread God’s Word in Israel amidst great challenges. Here are some highlights:
Sharing God’s Word
Nearly 2,000 of Derek Prince’s books have been distributed in 2024, in languages such as Hebrew, Arabic, French, Russian, and Spanish. These resources equip both Arab and Jewish believers, including leaders like Pastor "M" in Kana, who mentors others using these materials.
In Bethlehem, Elias and Nerim are using Derek’s Self-Study Bible Course in Arabic to disciple young believers, while Maria, an Arab believer, uses her small store to share Derek’s books with customers in need of hope. “These books are opening hearts and planting seeds of faith,” she shared.
Reaching Jewish Families
CFI also supported displaced Jewish families, providing practical help and spiritual resources, including Derek’s books. Among Israeli soldiers, there’s a growing hunger for God’s Word, with young IDF members gathering to pray and explore Scripture.
One officer shared with Sharon Friesen, one of the CFI coordinators, how hatred consumed him after recent attacks. Sharon encouraged him to forgive and prayed with him, bringing comfort and hope in a deep and personal way.
