Prey Veng Province is a mere two-hour drive from the capital, Phnom Penh. However, until recently, we had not ventured into this area. But through the grace of the Lord, we were able to establish a network and the Provincial Pastors’ Committee invited us to share with them. Our seminar was attended by 35 pastors and we focused on some of Derek’s teaching materials, including Power in the Name, God's Medicine Bottle, Fatherhood, and By Grace Alone.

During our trip, we encountered a lot of mosquitoes, but we were grateful that everything was well organized, and we felt the presence of the Lord with us. In our small group discussions, local pastors expressed their appreciation for Derek Prince's teaching materials, finding them to be very helpful in their ministries. They mentioned that DPM teaching materials are designed to be easy to understand and applicable to real-world situations, all while being based on solid biblical principles.

Pastor Sophoun: A Personal and Powerful Encounter with God's Fatherhood

Pastor Sophoun's journey to faith was a remarkable one, marked by resistance and ultimately, transformation. She recalled her early years when she adamantly opposed her father's newfound faith in Jesus. Despite her relentless disapproval, her father's unwavering love and kindness never wavered.

Intrigued by the profound change in her father, Pastor Sophoun delved into the Bible, seeking answers to the enigma that was Jesus. As she immersed herself in the scriptures, the words of the Lord began to resonate within her, gradually chipping away at her resistance.

Finally, a breakthrough came when Pastor Sophoun surrendered to the power of God's message. She embraced Jesus as her Savior, experiencing a profound transformation that mirrored the one she had witnessed in her father. From that moment forward, Pastor Sophoun dedicated her life to sharing the gospel and inspiring others to find salvation through Jesus Christ.

Pastor Chanthang: From Persecution to Salvation through "God's Medicine Bottle"

Pastor Chanthang's path to faith was marked by both persecution and ultimately, healing and salvation. Once a staunch opponent of Christianity, he actively sought to silence those who spoke of Jesus in his village. However, his friend's unwavering faith and relentless prayers for his conversion gradually softened his heart.

During a time of severe illness, when doctors predicted his demise, Pastor Chanthang turned to his Christian friend as a last resort. He pleaded for prayer, seeking the intervention of Jesus, whom he had long rejected. His friend, unsure of whether Jesus would heal, offered his prayers nonetheless.

In a miraculous turn of events, Pastor Chanthang felt a sensation of healing coursing through his body immediately following the prayer. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he leaped to his feet, proclaiming his newfound faith in Jesus. This transformative experience led him to embrace Christianity wholeheartedly, and he became an ardent evangelist, sharing his story and the gospel with others.

Pastor Chanthang's journey exemplifies the power of faith and the transformative nature of God's love. His story stands as a testament to the enduring impact of prayer and the unwavering hope that can be found in Jesus Christ.

Be Courageous

To the courageous evangelists facing persecution for their unwavering faith, I extend a message of encouragement and unwavering support. Your dedication to spreading the gospel, even in the face of adversity, is a testament to your unwavering belief in the power of God's love.

While the path of an evangelist is not always easy, remember that you are not alone. God is always with you, working behind the scenes, orchestrating events to bring about His will. The persecution you face, though seemingly daunting, is a sign of the impact you are making in the lives of others.

The seeds of faith you sow through your words and actions may not immediately take root, but know that they are being planted in the hearts of those who witness your unwavering strength. Just as the sun brings forth the beauty of a flower, so too will your perseverance bring forth a harvest of souls for the Lord.

Do not be discouraged by the harsh words or actions of those who seek to silence your message. Their resistance is a sign of their own fear and uncertainty. Your unwavering faith, shining like a beacon in the darkness, has the power to illuminate the path for others, leading them to the transformative love of Jesus Christ.

"Hold fast to your faith, knowing that God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating events to bring about His will."

Remember, dear evangelists, that you are not battling against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness. Your weapons are not those of violence or anger, but of love, compassion, and the unwavering truth of the gospel.

Hold fast to your faith, knowing that God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating events to bring about His will. Your perseverance and unwavering belief in the power of God's love will not be in vain. One day, those who persecute you will see the light of Christ reflected in your actions, and their hearts will be softened to receive the message of salvation.

Continue your mission with unwavering courage, knowing that God is with you, guiding your steps and empowering you to spread His message of love and hope to the world. Your dedication is an inspiration to us all, and we pray for your continued strength and resilience.

May the Lord bless you abundantly and strengthen you for the journey ahead.
